The Stitchery Department provides education and assistance on all facets of stitching, needlepoint, quilting, knitting, crocheting, crafts, ect. This group meets weekly and one evening a month to assist members with their individual projects or to work on group projects which contribute to the good of the club.

Our Activities Include

  • Arranges trips to needle work shops and exhibits
  • Creates Purple Hats for babies
  • Creates handcrafted items for club fundraisers
  • Executed a year long, membership wide needle work project titled “Betsy” which is proudly displayed in the club house.
  • Knits hats for chemotherapy patients as a signature Porch Club project
  • Participates in NSFWC Achievement Day winning numerous awards at District and State level.
  • Creates handmade quilts for club raffles
